GENERAL AERIAL QUESTIONS
Am I fit enough, strong enough, flexible enough to do aerial?
Yes! Aerial is for everyone!
We welcome complete beginners and people with bigger bodies. You don’t need to have upper body strength or be able to touch your toes. We can adjust the height to make equipment closer to the ground. Please do get in touch if you have specific concerns or questions.
Am I too old to do aerial?
No! You can do aerial at any age
Our students are aged 6 to 66 and older!
We would love to see you at a class or at a party to celebrate your birthday
What should I wear / bring to class?
We recommend layers of warm, comfortable clothing suitable for exercise.
No buttons, zips or anything which could get caught on the equipment.
Leggings/Joggers, vest/t-shirt/long sleeved top and jumper/hoodie.
Armpits, stomachs and knees must be covered for class.
We work in socks or bare feet (long thick socks are ideal to protect your skin)
All jewellery must be removed and long hair tied back.
We don’t have changing facilities, so please arrive ready to go!
Bring a bottle of water (can be filled at the studio), ideally no single use plastics.
Take your phone if you would like to take photos or videos.
We have limited space to store personal items, please only bring essentials with you.
Bikes, scooters etc must be stored outside.
What levels are your classes suitable for?
We offer classes for Absolute Beginners all the way to Advance training.
All our classes have the levels noted and any prerequisites required for each class.
CHILDREN’S PARTIES
Is there a minimum and maximum number of participants?
We have a minimum number of 6 and a maximum number of 24
Can we bring a cake?
You can chose to finish the aerial workshop early to allow 10-15 minutes for cake/snacks in our reception. You will need to bring everything you need for this and we are a waste free facility so you will have to take all rubbish away with you.
Can younger siblings take part?
We usually advise against siblings taking part if there is a big age gap. Younger participants require more attention and assistance from the instructors, meaning we usually can’t get through as many skills if the age group is mixed. Participants must be 6 -16 years of age to take part.
Do you offer catering or can we arrange our own catering?
We are unable to offer facilities for catering, we can only offer the aerial workshop as part of our parties. You can chose to finish the workshop earlier by 10-15 minutes and have cake/snacks. You will need to bring everything you need for this and we are a waste free facility so you will have to take all rubbish away with you.
Can parents spectate/watch?
There is a reception area where you can see into the studio, but it is a small area and not heated. Anyone entering the studio area is required to remain off the matted area and asked not to interrupt/distract the participants during the session.
